1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the PredScout website, accounts, dashboards, analytics, simulations, copy-trading tools, automation features and related support services.
PredScout is an independent interface for Polymarket users. This policy does not cover Polymarket, wallet providers, payment providers or other third-party services, which apply their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide, information generated through your use of PredScout, and limited information received from connected services.
- Account and contact information: your email address, authentication details, account preferences and other information you provide when creating or managing an account.
- Wallet and on-chain information: connected wallet addresses and publicly available transaction, position and trading activity associated with those addresses.
- Automation and product data: watchlists, copy-trading rules, allocation settings, risk limits, simulation settings and other configurations you create.
- Usage and device data: pages viewed, feature interactions, referral URLs, browser and device information, IP address, approximate location, timestamps, diagnostic data and performance logs.
- Communications: messages, feedback, data-correction requests and other information you send to support.
- Subscription information: plan status, payment status and transaction references received from payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers.
3. Wallet and public blockchain data
Wallet addresses and blockchain transactions are public by nature. Connecting a wallet allows PredScout to associate that public activity with your account and use it to provide portfolio analytics, simulations, alerts and automation features.
PredScout does not custody your funds and will never ask for your private key or seed phrase. Do not send private keys, seed phrases or wallet recovery information through email, Discord or any other support channel.
Information recorded on a public blockchain cannot be altered or deleted by PredScout. Closing your account or requesting deletion will not remove transactions or wallet activity that remain publicly available on the blockchain.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate and maintain PredScout features.
- Connect accounts and wallets and display relevant market or portfolio data.
- Save and execute the automation rules and risk settings you configure.
- Process subscriptions and maintain account access.
- Monitor performance, investigate errors and improve product reliability.
- Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents and violations of our terms.
- Respond to support requests and communicate important service or security updates.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations and protect our users, service and rights.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to provide the service you request, pursue legitimate interests such as securing and improving PredScout, comply with legal obligations, or act with your consent.
You may withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
PredScout may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, maintain security, understand product usage and measure performance.
Some technologies are necessary for the service to function. Where required, optional analytics or similar technologies are used only with your consent. You can control cookies through your browser or available consent settings, although disabling essential technologies may affect site functionality.
7. How we share information
We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:
- Service providers: operate hosting, authentication, analytics, communications, customer support, security and payment functions on our behalf.
- User-directed integrations: connect with Polymarket, wallet services or other services you choose to use.
- Legal and safety purposes: respond to valid legal requests, enforce our terms, investigate abuse or protect the rights, property and safety of PredScout, our users or others.
- Business changes: support a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring or transfer of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection requirements.
We may also use or disclose aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to you.
8. Sale of personal data and advertising
PredScout does not sell or rent personal data. We do not share personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising.
If these practices change, we will update this policy and provide any notices or opt-out methods required by applicable law.
9. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and why it is processed.
When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it where reasonably possible. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten. Public blockchain data remains available independently of PredScout.
10. International data transfers
PredScout and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for international transfers of personal data.
11. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. Access to personal data is limited to people and service providers that need it for legitimate purposes.
No online service or storage method is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials, email account and connected wallet.
12. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of personal data, subject to legal and operational exceptions.
- Receive a portable copy of certain information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.

Privacy requests apply only to information controlled by PredScout. We cannot edit or delete public blockchain records or information independently controlled by third parties.
13. Analytics and automated processing
PredScout uses automated methods to analyse public market and wallet activity and generate scores, ratings, simulations and other estimates. These outputs are product analytics and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
PredScout does not use these analytics to make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Trading automation acts only according to the rules and settings you choose.
14. Children’s privacy
PredScout is not intended for anyone under 18 or under the legal age required to use the service in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
15. Third-party services and links
PredScout may link to or interact with Polymarket, wallet providers, blockchains, payment providers, Discord and other third-party services. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
PredScout is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third-party services. Review their policies before connecting an account, wallet or payment method.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as PredScout changes or as legal requirements develop. The “Last updated” date shows when the policy was most recently revised.
Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes. Your continued use of PredScout after an updated policy takes effect means the revised policy applies to your subsequent use of the service.
